Shaquille O’Neal Gives Dwight Howard ‘Sanitizer’ Treatment After Reclaiming ‘Throne’

Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard and Shaquille O’Neal have been at odds for years for a variety of reasons. The two don’t seem to get along, and if one of them mentions the other’s name, several issues occur. This has been the case for years between the two. Notably, on the most recent segment of the NBA on TNT show, O’Neal seemed to take a light-hearted jab at Howard.

However, this jab comes from O’Neal after Howard’s recent stunts on the show the day before. For context, Howard was invited to the NBA on TNT show, and was told to ‘sit in Shaq’s chair’ by the NBA on TNT crew. In addition, Howard got a little too comfortable and also kept his bare feet on the table. A day later, O’Neal was informed about his actions.

The Hall of Famer went on to ‘sanitize’ his desk after Howard put his feet on him, capping off a hilarious moment on the show. The two stars have always had many back-and-forth arguments via their social media for years. However, this one was quite hilarious, at least the NBA community found it that way.

While this moment between the two was on the ‘funny side’ of the story, there have been many moments that were not that funny. For instance, O’Neal recently termed Howard as ‘a jokester that can’t take a joke.’ He posted a tweet to make his feelings known about the former Lakers player.

It’s also important to note that Howard has tried to put this beef to bed several times in public forums, but Shaq does not seem to agree with this. However, most recently on the ‘Big Podcast,’ the two did seem to put the beef to bed, showcasing signs of maturity and peace between the two Hall of Famers.

On the other hand, social media is regrettably only stoking the fire between former and current NBA players. These days, it’s becoming a commonplace for athletes to vent their frustrations off the field.

Dwight Howard makes a bold request after recently appearing on the NBA on TNT show

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games on Tuesday to earn a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals for the second consecutive year. However, it was Howard’s appearance on the NBA on TNT show that made waves amongst the NBA community. To make matters worse, Howard sat in O’Neal’s chair.

However, it did not end here. The NBA legend proceeded to post on X regarding his feelings about the show and Shaquille O’Neal. Dwight Howard wrote on X, “Yall gotta have me and my big brother(Shaq) up here next 😂 @NBAonTNT.”

Now, with the two putting their long-standing beef to bed lately, Howard went as far as to call O’Neal his ‘brother.’ This was surely something the fans did not see coming.

This marks a happy ending for Howard, who concluded his 18-year career with averages of 15.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game. He was a formidable defender and rebounder in his heyday, winning three consecutive Defensive Player of the Year awards and leading the NBA in rebound average five times.

Shaquille O’Neal agrees to Dwight Howard’s request regarding his Hall of Fame induction

The fight for the NBA’s Superman is coming to an end. After the 39-year-old was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame last month, Shaquille O’Neal and Dwight Howard appeared to move past their troubled past.

Howard notably requested that O’Neal and other Hall of Fame big players accompany him at the event. On the recent segment of “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” O’Neal responded by calling Howard “my guy” and stating that he intends to take out the eight-time All-Star for his induction into the Hall of Fame.

In response to Howard’s plea, O’Neal stated on his show, “I’ll do it, I’ll be there.”

Only months have passed since the two parties’ enmity sharply intensified, during which time Howard raised the prospect of a physical altercation. Nevertheless, the two seemed to have resolved their issues ahead of Howard’s induction.
