NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is known for his hilarious and uncanny nature on and off the court. During his playing days and now as an NBA analyst, O’Neal has never failed to showcase his humorous side whenever he has had the chance. He had done the same lately on his way to buying groceries from the Sprouts Farmers Market.
The NBA icon and business tycoon demonstrated that, in spite of his notoriety, he is still a normal person who enjoys cookies, eating well, and surprising people by showing up. Shaq took to his Instagram account as he posted a video of himself grocery shopping, also being rejected from having ‘cookies’ in hilarious fashion.
As Shaq walked over to the cookie aisle in the market, he stated, “Oh hell yeah, cookies.” However, a Sprouts staffer comically smacks his palm as he reaches in to get one, saying, “No cookies for you, fat boy.”
Fans poured in hilarious reactions after coming across this moment. O’Neal, meanwhile, accepted the joke, laughed it off, and continued in his typical Shaq way. The NBA legend then changes course and goes to the area with prepared meals, which he freely acknowledges he adores. In addition, O’Neal also waited for a meet-and-greet session with the fans after his grocery shopping, showcasing his humble nature.
Shaq, whose estimated net worth exceeds $400 million, has amassed a vast empire that includes franchises for Krispy Kreme, Big Chicken, Papa John’s, Auntie Anne’s, and 24 Hour Fitness. In addition, he has agreements with Reebok, Icy Hot, The General, and numerous more.
Shaquille O’Neal once made an interesting revelation regarding Amazon owner Jeff Bezos
Shaquille O’Neal did not earn a fortune just overnight. He built an empire through years of hard work and image-building after retiring as an NBA star. However, all this would not be possible if O’Neal had not turned to the Amazon owner, Jeff Bezos, for his business strategy, as revealed by the NBA legend back in 2019.
I heard Jeff Bezos say one time [that] he makes his investments based on if it’s going to change people’s lives. Once I started doing that strategy, I think I probably quadrupled what I’m worth.
Shaquille O’Neal told the Wall Street Journal

According to O’Neal, this idea extends beyond simply sending cheques to the most promising firms. No matter how good the stats appear, he won’t touch a business if he doesn’t genuinely approve of it. “Whenever I do business, it’s not about the money,” he stated.
Shaquille O’Neal once opened up on his polyamorous lifestyle
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal once appeared on the It’s Giving podcast, where he spoke about various topics regarding his personal life and relationships in general, but the one that caught everyone’s attention was his take on his polyamorous lifestyle. As per O’Neal, he wouldn’t commit to a sacred marriage, but if someone satisfies all the “perfect qualifications,” he might change his mind.
He further went on and dropped the hammer on his relationships, claiming that he has ‘4 white girlfriends’ on the podcast.
Most divorces happen because people say, ‘I didn’t know.’ I have to know. I gotta know every angle…I don’t know… I got four white girls now, so just trying to, you know, go back and forth.
Shaquille O’Neal said on the It’s Giving podcast
Shaq has mostly kept his love life quiet after splitting from Shaunie Henderson. He has been connected to a number of women, but no significant relationship has yet come to light since.
