Many would agree that one of the most exciting sports TV program in television history is Inside the NBA. Basketball fans have enjoyed top-notch entertainment from Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley for many years. However, the performers have occasionally been found to be lacking on set. The most recent victim was NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal.
In San Francisco on Thursday night, Shaquille O’Neal did not choose to mince his words. When the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder were playing in the NBA, on TNT at halftime, Shaq raced fellow panelist, Charles Barkley, inside the video board at the rear of the set (a tradition going on for years). However, this time it occurred in front of a live audience in the Bay Area.
Shaq returned to his seat after winning the not-so-toughly contested race and purposefully used a few swears. “In the words of Marshawn Lynch, I’m tired as s—, America,” Shaq said into the microphone, causing Barkley, Smith and Johnson to laugh. “We’re getting fired anyway, Ernie, f**k it!,” Shaquille O’Neal further stated.

The NBA’s new TV deals with ABC/ESPN, NBC, and Prime Video initially left TNT Sports out, marking Inside the NBA’s final season on TNT. However, in November, TNT secured a deal to license the show to ABC and ESPN for next season.
Given that, O’Neal and crew will be on the panel once again going into the next NBA season. However, under Disney’s viewership, O’Neal and others won’t be able to drop F-bombs due to their censorship restrictively.
Charles Barkley once called fellow NBA on TNT show panelist ‘boring’
Charles Barkley was once caught dozing on the NBA on TNT Show, which was quite hilarious. Barkley appeared on The Late Night Talk show hosted by Conan O’Brien and provided a reason for his act. The NBA great was shown the infamous video of the event by O’Brien. Barkley began by outlining the show’s extensive schedule in a very serious manner.
Barkley said, “When we do our show, we do our show from 8 at night to 2:30 in the morning.” However, he quickly changed the topic and blamed his co-hosts, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith instead.
The truth of the matter is, Shaq and Kenny are so damn boring, I can’t stay awake. You can blame that on Shaq and Kenny, they’re so boring.
Charles Barkley further said
The NBA legend defended himself by saying that it’s not easy to spend more than six hours with those two. The other two hosts would have said the same thing about Chuck if they had been on O’Brien’s show, given their history and enjoyment of banter.
