It is not uncommon for older men to date younger women. However, when the said male is 72 years old, one would usually think that the woman would be around 60. This is how old legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick‘s previous girlfriend was. But it is his new girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, whose age has left Shaquille O’Neal impressed with Belichick and had a few praiseworthy words to say about the former head coach.

The 4-time NBA Champion was talking about this on The Big Podcast with Shaq. There, co-host Adam Lefkoe asked him for his reaction to Bill Belichick’s dating life. 

Good for him. He only has 10 summers left. He'll be 80 years old. If he still got enough game to get him a little 20-year-old. If he still got them blue boys, more power to him. I'm happy for him.

O’Neal knows what it is to be with a much younger woman. Even though he knows that Belichick and Hudson’s age difference is much more than what he has experienced, he is still happy for them.

Former New England Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick and 24-year-old Jordon Hudson’s relationship has come out into the public eye over the past few weeks. Since then, the talk among the media circles is of their age difference.

The 48-year age difference is no doubt staggering. But as per Shaquille O’Neal, if the 72-year-old Belichick is happy with his girlfriend, then so be it.

Almost 2 months ago, pictures of Shaquille O’Neal with an apparently 21-year-old woman holidaying in Spain went viral. However, reporter Robert Littal came out to say this about the photos.

These photos are from 2019. He was 47 at the time and the age of the lady he was with was never confirmed but she wasn’t his girlfriend, just a lady on a yacht with his friends. I did the story on this back in 2019. It was nothing serious.

Essentially shutting down rumors that O’Neal was dating a woman who was younger than some of his children. The Big Aristotle himself did not bother fact-checking anyone.

Their age difference of more than 30 years was what caught the attention of the public. Naturally, everyone knows the 4-time champion’s back story. His divorce from Shaunie O’Neal is still talked about to this day.

However, Shaquille O’Neal has had younger girlfriends in the past. That is why he maybe so supportive of Bill Belichick in his new relationship.
