Shaquille O'Neal trolled Charles Barkley by using Drake's diss track 'BBL Drizzy'
There is never a dull moment with the dynamic duo of Inside the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, as they never miss a chance to troll each other on national TV during NBA games. Similarly, as Minnesota Timberwolves made fun of Barkley on their BringYaA** site, O’Neal could not help but add his cheeky two cents.
After Anthony Edwards told Charles Barkley to visit Minnesota, the state’s tourism department updated it’s site in honor of Ant-Man’s quote. The website after that took a priceless jibe at Barkley as they posted pictures of the Inside the NBA crew version of ‘Bring Ya A**’. That’s when Shaquille O’Neal decided to channel his inner Metro Boomin and sang his version of the Drake diss track.
I didn't know you had all that a** back there Chuck...BBL Chuck, BBL Chucky!Shaquille O’Neal said
The veteran could not stop laughing as they showed the picture again and Kenny Smith started to add his jokes. Barkley also joined in on the fun as he hilariously told the staff to not show the picture to the audience again before they ‘go to bed’. The broadcast ended with O’Neal imitating the ‘BBL Drizzy’ and cracking up.
The hosts are certainly having fun in Minnesota for the TNT’s broadcast. The Inside the NBA crew came to Minneapolis for the Western Conference Finals between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks. The crew will extend their stay for Game 2, which will be held on the coming Friday.
Charles Barkley came to Minnesota in style after 20 years
After the Timberwolves took down the Denver Nuggets in the second round of playoffs, the Inside crew interviewed Edwards. As the Game 1 against Mavericks was going to be held in Minnesota, Barkley told Ant-Man that he had not been to the state in 20 years. That’s when the joke started as Edwards told Chuck to ‘Bring Ya **’.
Hence, it was only right for Barkley to embrace the viral quote after coming to Minnesota since their last West Finals appearance. Upon his arrival, Chuck posted a video on Instagram, where he rocked a hat that said the quote.
Bring your a**. We here.Charles Barkley said
Edwards’ impact is truly surprising, as the quote has become one of the biggest features of Minnesota’s marketing. The quote has taken the social media world by storm as the team is playing their first championship semifinals after two long decades.
