Shaquille O'Neal built chemistry with Miami Heat teammates by partying

Shaquille O’Neal is known for two things. One is the dominant basketball player that won four NBA titles along with a league MVP. The other is his larger-than-life side who knows how to build chemistry with anyone.

In his NBA career, he resorted to both of his skills to win those titles. Other than being the most important player on his team(s), he was also the de facto team leader. Which meant, he was responsible for how the team went about their business.

One of his most famous efforts in helping others shine was when he pushed the late Kobe Bryant to develop into the great player he eventually became. But that came about after O’Neal belittled the then young Mamba. When he was with the Miami Heat, he took a completely different approach.

Shaq pretty much had parties in every city. You would go party with Shaq, but Shaq didn’t drink. You’re gonna have a great time with him, but he’s not drinking. It brought the team camaraderie was so good. It’s not the best way to do it, but it was a fun way to do it.

Antoine Walker added that in their championship winning season, the Miami Heat roster was assembled by signing players in free agency. That meant, they had to build team chemistry quickly. In order to do that, Shaquille O’Neal took the majority of the team to parties and dinners.

In any sport, it is rare to see more than three or four players go together for a party or dinner. But O’Neal used to party with groups of eight or nine teammates. That help build that chemistry quickly and eventually won the Miami Heat its first ever NBA title.

Shaquille O’Neal trolls reports of having multiple girlfriends

Yesterday, comedian Jess Hilarious claimed that four white women live with the Big Aristotle in his mansion in Atlanta. She believed they were like his four wives. To this, the big man came out with a reel on his Instagram with a caption that read.

See what happens when y’all be all in my business, thanks to y’all they left, now I’m all alone again.

Even his sons commented on the post with a surprised tone that their father had four women living with him. It has been established that Shaquille O’Neal does not have anyone in particular in his personal life. He is single and has been vocal about how his experience with women have been.

Considering his image, it is unlikely that he is living a life similar to rapper Ne-Yo. But Jess Hilarious did say that she saw those women inside O’Neal’s mansion. But the big man trolling, almost negates those claims.

O’Neal dropped career high on his birthday

Other than being an elite rebounder and shot blocker, what made Shaquille O’Neal great was his scoring. Yes, his free throw struggles are part of NBA folklore, but at his peak, the Big Aristotle was hard to stop. He did not just resort to his monster dunks all the time.

The big man also had a repertoire of shots from around the basket. He used all that to become the NBA’s scoring champion twice. He was the last center to claim that crown, only until Joel Embiid won it twice two decades later.

In the second of his scoring title winning season, Shaquille O’Neal was playing the best basketball of his career. He won the league MVP award that season, confirming to the world that he was one of the best to ever play the game.

In that season, he also notched his career high in points with 61. It was probably the best way to celebrate his 28th birthday as he dominated cross town rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers. That game was O’Neal at his dominant best. That season he won his first NBA title, cementing his legacy.
