Former NBA player Nate Robinson who played with Shaquille O’Neal in the Boston Celtics recently revealed shocking news about his health. In 2022, the former athlete announced that he was suffering from renal kidney failure. After that Robinson did not speak much about his health until yesterday.

Nate Robinson has been looking for a kidney for the past four years. While speaking with the Daily Mail Sports the former player shockingly revealed that he does not have much time if he does not find a kidney replacement.

I know that I don't have long if I can't get a kidney. I know I'm not going to have long to live. So I just want to make the best of it as much as I can.

Later, Robinson revealed that he is going through dialysis and will not survive a ‘week or two’ without it. Further, the star told in the interview his routine of the dialysis process and expressed gratitude that his body accepted the treatment. The three-time slam dunk champion also spoke about the difficulties he faces in the process.

As Robinson appeared as a guest on the ‘OG’s Show’ podcast, the 39-year-old talked about his perspective on life amid his health issues. Despite his kidney problems, the star expressed being grateful to God as it helped him to appreciate life more.

Robinson expressed wanting to help others by talking about his kidney failure. The former player is looking at his situation positively as he revealed he has seen worse cases of people suffering from the same health problems. Robinson revealed that looking at such people pushes him to not quit.

For me, I never quit anything in my life. I can't quit this. There been times where I wanted to give up but I can't because I don't know how.
