43-year-old female star flexes her partner’s performance while addressing multiple botches due to ‘rope issues’ at Clash at the Castle 

The recently concluded Clash at the Castle PLE saw some outstanding matches, with many superstars showcasing high-flying moves. However, due to some rope issues, wrestlers like Jade Cargill and Damian Priest failed to execute their moves, nearly resulting in horrific injuries. Although the WWE Universe stood in support of them, Shayna Baszler used the controversy to flex her partner Zoey Stark’s prowess in the ring on social media.

The Queen of Spades took to X and took a shot, particularly at her rival Jade Cargill. She stated that, despite there having been some “rope issues,” her tag team partner Zoey Stark had no problem attempting springboards. Baszler also added that Stark had an MVP-level performance in that match.

The tag team of Stark and Shayna Baszler was one of the three teams that battled for the Women’s Tag Team titles. Many fans felt that they had less chance of winning compared to the fan-favorite champions and hometown heroes Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. That ultimately ended up being true, as The Unholy Union dethroned Big Jade and Bianca Belair as champions.

The Queen of Spades was the one who eventually took the pin from Dawn. She has had a few rough weeks, as on June 9 at the NXT Battleground PLE, she suffered another loss to Lola Vice in an underground match. Only time will tell whether she and Stark will get another title opportunity in the future or not.

Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell wary of crossing paths with Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler

The duo of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark is one of the most dangerous and hard-hitting duos in the women’s division today. Former manager and veteran Dutch Mantell praised the ferocious tag team and expressed his opinion about them in an interview.

While speaking on the Smack Talk podcast, Mantell joked that he wouldn’t want to meet them in a dark alley. The 74-year-old veteran further added that he would rather run away than wait to talk to them. Although both superstars have managed to establish themselves as a formidable team, they haven’t been able to win tag team titles.

I'd hate to meet them in a dark corner. I'd say, 'Whatever you want ladies.'" He continued, "I wouldn't get my a** kicked. If I saw them in a dark alley one night, I'm not hanging around and chit chatting. I'd be gone.

One prime example of Baszler’s ruthlessness was the Elimination Chamber match in 2020. She dominated the entire match, eliminating all the women and earning an opportunity to compete for the world title. However, she was unable to capture the title from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36.
