Will Ospreay‘s dream match against Bryan Danielson had fans and critics raving, with some placing it among the greatest matches of all time. However, the classic at Dynasty seemingly didn’t impress Sheamus at all. The three-time WWE Champion took a dig at the British wrestler on social media by recalling his WrestleMania match with The Dragon.
The Celtic Warrior took to X and shared a post about the matches that defined his career. He promised the WWE Universe that he would get rid of the ring rust and body fat, given that he got trolled for his physique online. One of his fans responded by praising him, comparing him to Will Ospreay. Therefore, Sheamus backed up his statement by insinuating that, unlike Ospreay, he didn’t have much trouble defeating Bryan Danielson.
Both stars wrestled each other at WrestleMania 28, where The Dragon defended the World Heavyweight Champion. While the latter was busy sharing a kiss with AJ Lee, Sheamus took the advantage and defeated him in just 18 seconds. Fans were left shocked and confused, as it ended up being one of the shortest matches in WrestleMania history.

The Great White recently returned from an injury and earned back-to-back victories over Ivar and Shinsuke Nakamura. Considering that his motivations are unknown as of now, he will keep a close eye on the WWE Draft on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Fans will find out which brand he will be signed to on Friday.
Sheamus took another shot at Drew McIntyre regarding his rivalry with CM Punk
The back-and-forth banter between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus has continued on social media after their confrontation on Raw. They haven’t left any stone unturned, taking brutal shots at each other on X.

McIntyre took to X and shared a video of the TNA heel faction, Main Event Mafia. The Scottish Warrior posted this video to mock Sheamus’ bulky physique. The Celtic Warrior responded by attaching a clip of CM Punk costing him his moment at WrestleMania XL.

The rivalry between both men dates back to the road to WrestleMania 39, where Sheamus and McIntyre vied for the Intercontinental Championship. This resulted in a triple-threat match, involving Gunther, for the title. Needless to say, given the ongoing social media trolling, it won’t be surprising to see these two put on another banger at Backlash.
