Ever since Sheamus returned from injury, Imperium has made every effort to make his life difficult. He aimed to win the King of the Ring tournament but lost to his arch-nemesis and eventual king, Gunther. Although The Ring General prevailed as the winner, his friend Ludwig Kaiser also played an important role in injuring Sheamus’s leg.
After the latest episode of SmackDown went off the air, Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser squared off against each other. The right-hand man of Gunther put up a great fight, constantly countering The Celtic Warrior’s crucial attacks. However, in the end, the veteran picked up a win over him with a Brogue Kick. With The Ring General focusing on the world title scene, it looks like Sheamus and Kaiser have entered into a blood feud of their own.

On this week’s episode of Raw, the former world champion came out to address Kaiser’s action during his King of the Ring tournament match. However, before he could say anything, the German wrestler interrupted him and attacked him backstage, leading to an all-out brawl.
Although the 46-year-old veteran won the dark match against him, they will again collide on the upcoming Raw episode. Both superstars have been taking shots at each other on social media. It will be interesting to see whether the new King of the Ring Gunther helps his friend win the match or not.
Dolph Ziggler revealed why he lost multiple times to Sheamus during his WWE run
Sheamus’ Brogue Kick is one of the deadliest finishing moves in WWE. He has defeated many superstars with it, and one of those was former WWE Superstar Nick Nemeth. Formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, the wrestler revealed the reason why he had to face so many defeats at the hands of The Celtic Warrior.

While speaking on the Eyes Up Here podcast, Nemeth stated that it was Vince McMahon‘s idea to make him face Sheamus. The reason behind this was that the former chairman of WWE liked how well he sold the Brogue Kick. Although at one point Nemeth felt like he was getting attention and was doing something great, he soon realized it ruined his credibility.
It's like, 'Oh, cool, I'm doing something great,' and then it gets into like, 'I don't know who's winning the world title tonight, but let's make sure we get that Sheamus kick on Dolph because it's gonna look so good.Nic Nemeth via the Eyes up Here podcast
The duo wrestled each other three times at premium live events. The most notable match between the two stars was at No Way Out in 2012, where the Irish star retained his World Heavyweight title. Many fans also remember their bizarre “Kiss My A**” match in 2015, in which Sheamus lost and brutally attacked his opponent afterward.
