Sheamus is not afraid to step into battle, no matter whom it is against. He gives it his all and doesn’t hesitate to show off his battle scars, either. The Celtic Warrior, Ludwig Kaiser, and Bron Breakker recently competed for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series in a triple threat. The match was just as hard-hitting as the fans expected, and that is evident by the show’s aftermath.

Shortly after the end of his match, the Great White posted a photo of his body with red marks all over his back, his sides, and his arms. Despite all the effort he had put in, the Intercontinental Championship eluded him once again. Bron Breakker hit a spear on both him and Kaiser to pick up the pinfall victory and retain his championship.

Regardless, fans are still hopeful that the 2012 Royal Rumble winner will get another huge moment soon. He has been chasing the Intercontinental Title since 2022 but has always been unsuccessful. This prize is the only thing that stands between him becoming a grand slam champion. Thus, the WWE Universe would surely love to see him achieve this feat, perhaps next year at WrestleMania in Las Vegas.

This is not the first time the former WWE Champion has done something like this. He also posted photos of red marks all over his body following his Donnybrook match with Pete Dunne. In the past, he also showed off the bruises he’s gotten after stepping into the ring with Gunther. It is no wonder that fans and wrestlers alike call Sheamus the toughest wrestler in all of WWE.

Sheamus claims to love the brutality of WWE matches

It is no secret that WWE superstars truly put their bodies on the line every single week to entertain fans. Although Sheamus often ends up with bruises all over his body, he claims that this is exactly what he signed up for and loves the brutal aspect of wrestling. Even former MMA superstars like Bobby Lashley have named the former Money in the Bank winner as the toughest wrestler they ever worked with.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, the Celtic King said that when someone gets in the ring with him, they don’t have to worry about their opponent complaining about stiff shots. He loved the physicality in his matches against Drew McIntyre, Cesaro, and Daniel Bryan, as they could go as hard as they wanted.

I think when other talent get in with me, I think they realize that they don’t have to worry about the other guy complaning or moaning about it. They just know they can go full tilt.

During his match against Pete Dunne, the English wrestler had brought an intensity to the ring that no one had seen from him before. He knew he could do that without worrying about going too hard on Sheamus. This is what made their match stand out and so special.
