Maintaining a good physique is a critical part of being a WWE superstar. Not only does it keep one fit and athletic, but it also adds to their aesthetics and presentation. These wrestlers often have strict diets and exercise regimens to keep looking the way they do. Sheamus is famous for being one of the fittest wrestlers on the roster. However, there was a brief period of time when this was not the case.
A fan recently shared a side-by-side comparison of Sheamus from April 2024, showing his previous higher fat percentage alongside his current, leaner physique. In response, The Celtic Warrior credited his transformation to a meat-based diet. Of course, his dedication to intense workouts also plays a significant role. He even runs a YouTube channel where he shares fitness guidance, often featuring fellow WWE superstars.
Sheamus took a hiatus from WWE following his match against Edge in August 2023. When he returned to WWE in April 2024, it was evident that he no longer had the physique he once had. Drew McIntyre even made fun of him for the same during a promo. However, the Great White picked himself up and is back to being shredded as ever.

The 47-year-old had revealed in an interview with Chris Van Vliet that he was aiming for a return by WrestleMania XL. When this did not happen, he lost his motivation to work out and let his physique go out of control. Thus, when he had to make his return on Raw, he was not fully ready to be back on TV.
Sheamus teases feud against Finn Balor on social media
Sheamus and Finn Balor are the two biggest Irish names on the male WWE roster. Both these superstars have won world championships in the past and have other major accolades to their names. Thus, it is truly a shame that fans have never seen these two go up against each other in a major feud.

Sheamus recently posted a photo of himself alongside Finn Balor during the ongoing European tour. The two Irishmen could be seen enjoying a Guinness together. The 2012 Royal Rumble winner said that while he loved his friend, a feud between them would definitely “feed generations.”
It is worth noting that fans may actually get to see these two superstars go head-to-head pretty soon. Several reports have stated that Bron Breakker will defend his Intercontinental Championship in a multi-man match at WrestleMania 41.
Both Sheamus and Balor have vied for the Intercontinental Championship in the past few months but have come up short. It is clear that they are still not done aiming for the belt and will keep going for it. These two could be a part of this match and face each other at the biggest show of the year.
Sheamus returns to action for the first time since the Royal Rumble
Sheamus has not been seen on WWE programming for a while now. His last televised appearance came during the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match. He entered the 30-man match at #9 and was eliminated by Roman Reigns after spending 15 minutes in the ring without picking up any eliminations. He has even seemingly expressed his frustration with WWE for keeping him off TV.

WWE’s European Tour recently took the roster to Belfast for a live event. Considering that the show was in Ireland, Sheamus got a huge Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Bron Breakker. He even penned down his thoughts on X, saying that his opponent was not going to leave his country with the IC title.
Belfast.. my road to Wrestlemania starts TONIGHT. Bron Breakker will not leave MY COUNTRY with the IC Title. Are you ready for a BANGER?? pic.twitter.com/v0wgdinAhk

Unfortunately, despite this strong belief in himself, the former King of the Ring winner was once again unable to overcome Breakker and lost the match. Sheamus currently has no direction for WrestleMania 41 unless he enters the IC title scene once again.
