Ahead of the Tennessee Titans‘ game against the Green Bay Packers, the 12th Titan was unveiled in front of a packed Nissan Stadium. WWE Superstar Sheamus made his presence known. The former WWE Champion hyped up the crowd before swinging the signature sword and putting it in a rock. Despite Sheamus’ support, the Titans continued their miserable start to the season. The Packers proved to be too good for the home team.

This wasn’t the first time the wrestling veteran indulged himself in the new NFL season. In August, Sheamus was one of the guest pickers on ESPN’s College GameDay. The Celtic Warrior flew to his home country of Ireland alongside Pat McAfee and co. to promote the upcoming season. Sheamus recently shared good news regarding his WWE future, announcing that he has signed a new five-year extension with the company.

Since returning in April, the 46-year-old star has delivered “banger after banger” on Monday nights. Feuding with the likes of Ludwig Kaiser and Pete Dunne, Sheamus has been one of the best television wrestlers of the year.

On the latest episode of Raw, the Irish-born wrestler suffered a defeat against his former teammate. In the closing stretches of the bout, Dunne used a cricket bat on Sheamus to pick up a huge win. Knowing the latter’s attitude, he’ll look to seek revenge on the erstwhile Butch in the coming weeks.

Additionally, Sheamus will most likely set his sights on the title that has alluded him throughout his career, the Intercontinental Championship. Therefore, fans are excited to see what the future holds for the 2011 King of the Ring winner.

Several WWE and AEW stars make their presence known during NFL Game Week 3

Along with Sheamus, several WWE superstars made the headlines for partaking in the NFL season during the weekend. Most notably, Seth Rollins, who was in attendance for the Indianapolis Colts vs. Chicago Bears game.

In a clip that went viral online, The Visionary was thrown over the barricade by former wide receiver TY Hilton. Meanwhile, Mercedes Mone reunited with her former teammates at the SoFi stadium to watch the 49ers vs. Ramps.

Mone was pictured alongside Bayley, Naomi, Leila Grey and Tamina. The Role Model is known to be an avid 49ers fan and even gifted George Kittle a WWE legacy title last season. Needless to say, fans can expect more participation from wrestlers as the season moves on.
