Shedeur Sanders ditched the disappointment of being selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft by hitting the nightclub on Sunday. The new Cleveland Browns quarterback was seen partying with a suitcase full of cash and an expensive Louis Vitton bag.

Sanders’ slide was monumental. Analysts, draft gurus, and everyone who wanted to see him taken in the first round were pissed that NFL teams picked Jaxson Dart, Tyler Shough, and Dillon Gabriel ahead of him.

To make matters worse, Sanders got a fake GM call on day 2 that later turned out to be a 21-year-old who found the ex-Colorado quarterback’s number in his dad’s iPad. However, the series of bad omens didn’t waver his belief in GOD.

The Browns finally drafted Shedeur Sanders 144th overall on day three. Later, the 23-year-old was seen partying at a Dallas nightclub with rappers Kodak Black, Yung Miami, Loe Shimmy, and some of his closest friends.

It’s hard to get into the NFL. Each year, nearly 1000 college athletes enter the draft process for a chance to play for an NFL team. Only the physically and mentally strong players get drafted. As per AS USA, a total of 257 players were picked during the three-day draft process. Some will also be taken as undrafted free agents, and a few have the chance to prove themselves at the rookie invitationals.

Sanders, celebrating his selection after the debacle he went through in the last 72 hours, is somewhat warranted. But fans on social media believe it’s premature for him to celebrate because his position on the Browns roster isn’t guaranteed.

The fans are not wrong. Sanders has a mountain to climb. He has four other quarterbacks to deal with in the Browns camp.

He can count Deshaun Watson out because of his injury. Joe Flacco will likely start for the Browns in week one, with Kenny Pickett as the backup. Sanders has to duke it out with fellow rookie Gabriel to be part of the three-man quarterback squad; otherwise, he will be out of the NFL without playing a snap for the AFC North franchise.
