The New York Giants were certain they had a franchise quarterback at the start of the season, but the team is now attempting to finish off the rest of its year with a backup at the helm. It is clear that they will be hoping to draft a quarterback in the 2025 draft and their 2-11 record guarantees them a top 3 pick.
Out of the quarterbacks available in this year’s draft class, Shedeur Sanders is a top prospect. The New York Giants fueled the fire to speculation of drafting him the moment GM Joe Schoen visited the Colorado Buffaloes facility earlier this month.
Now, there is another reason to believe Shedeur Sanders is headed to The Big Apple. He linked up with talented rookie wideout Malik Nabers in New York and the duo were casually throwing each other the football and catching passes.

This could be a preview of the Giants’ offense next season with Sanders at the helm and Nabers catching balls from him.
Shedeur Sanders joining the Giants is a high possibility
Despite a rather disappointing rookie year, Malik Nabers has shown immense potential. All that he needs is a good quarterback that can throw the ball accurately. With Sanders in NY, the Giants will get a huge boost in terms of morale and the excitement will return in the fanbase.
Shedeur Sanders has been playing the odds and cozying up to the idea of playing in New York or Las Vegas. Earlier this month, he posted a video of him driving past Allegiant Stadium in Vegas which gave rise to the speculation that he was interested in joining the Raiders. However, shortly after, a report indicated that Aidan O’Connell is still likely to be the team’s starter for the foreseeable future.
Sanders recently attended the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. The home crowd gave him a classic NY ovation and applauded him the moment he was shown on the jumbotron.
Deion Sanders has made it clear previously that he would intervene if the wrong NFL team drafted his son but since Coach Prime welcomed Joe Schoen to the Buffaloes facility, it should be believed that he is happy with the idea of seeing Shedeur play in New York.
