Looks like Shedeur Sanders is swearing off all the negative energy ahead of making his NFL debut in the coming April. That’s probably why, he stopped buying televisions. Or could it be because he got offended by an NFL analyst pushing his draft projection down, despite him being one of the top two quarterbacks in the Class of 2025.

After finishing his final year with the Colorado Buffaloes as runner-up for the Heisman Trophy with 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a QBR of 75.5; Sanders is projected to be a top-five pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, if not the first overall. However, not everyone seems too convinced by this projection.

Ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine, an NFL analyst claimed that Coach Prime’s son, Shedeur may not make it among the top five, sliding to No. 6 pick. The young quarterback certainly seemed offended by this projection as he responded with a blunt message when his competitor Cam Ward asked him about this. “That was sick. I stopped buying TVs,” said Sanders.

Meanwhile, Ward of Miami Hurricanes appeared to be having quite the fun in teasing Sanders as he remains the top quarterback prospect of the upcoming draft. After also finishing as a Heisman Trophy finalist like Sanders, he posted 4,313 yards with 39 touchdowns and 7 interceptions and second-best QBR of 88.7 in college football.

Cam Ward mocks Shedeur Sanders’ completion rate in viral practice video

Another clip appears to be going viral on the internet from Ward and Sanders’ practice for the NFL draft at the UNLV campus, where the two can be seen engaging in a fun banter once the Miami standout quarterback started poking fun at Sanders for his pass completion of 74%.

That’s how you threw it. That’s how you got a 70% completion rate. All you do is this-look, Lajohntay, bubble screen, touchdown! I ain’t throwing bubble screen!” said Ward, to which the Buffaloes’ star quarterback argued, “I can find the highlights to it! Consistency, that’s what he lacks.

The clip shared by Well Off Forever also showed both the star quarterbacks engaging in passing drills and honing their arm skills by competing with each other. While Sanders’ draft projection is going down, there’s a good chance that he may get drafted as the first overall pick by the Tennessee Titans as per a recent mock draft by NBC Sports
