Shedeur Sanders, son of College Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, is already making waves in the football world. Even before entering the professional league, he’s projected as a top-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Recently, ‘Beats by Dre’ launched a new campaign today titled “Athletes Get It,” narrated by WNBA Chicago Sky player Angel Reese. This campaign highlights athletes in action while utilizing Beats’ product lineup, which includes Beats Studio Pro, Beats Solo Buds, and Beats Fit Pro. The initiative further emphasizes Beats’ commitment to integrating itself into the sports world.
Amongst the athletes featured in the video, Sanders is the sole collegiate player. Apart from Sanders, there was Inter Miami player and Soccer World Cup champion Lionel Messi, basketball legend Lebron James, and recent MLB World Series champion Shohei Ohtani. Daniel Ricciardo, tennis names Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka, and Eric Haaland are also seen in the video.
Shedeur Sanders plays under his dad, Coach Prime, in the Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffaloes are off to a good start in the 2024 season winning six games while losing just two. Sanders and Travis Hunter have formed one of the most explosive duos in collegiate football this season. They have been charging Papa Sanders’ plays perfectly into motion.

Sanders’ performance on the field this season has significantly enhanced his value. He has thrown for 2,591 yards, recorded 21 touchdowns, and thrown only six interceptions. The 22-year-old played a crucial role in propelling Colorado to a No. 23 ranking in college football.
With NIL in place, Shedeur Sanders is one of the most marketable athletes
Sanders is one of the highest-valued NIL athletes, boasting a valuation of $6.2 million. He has secured NIL deals with prominent brands such as Nike and Gatorade, among others. Furthermore, he was one of the 11 players signed by Beats by Dre under their second Beats Elite campaign.

The campaign collaborated with Learfield to obtain intellectual property rights, allowing athletes’ universities to be represented on headphone and speaker designs featuring their logos and mascots. In the 11 names, there are six athletes who have a ranking of 15 or higher across college sports. Sanders leads the list with $4.7 million, echoing his marketability.
Despite a galore of brands signing his name, Shedeur Sanders hasn’t reached the prime spot. He recently revealed his dream brand in his podcast “2 Legendary with Shedeur Sanders” in an episode with teammate Cash Cleveland. The 22-year-old expressed that he would love to collaborate with Audemars Piguet, a Swiss watch brand known for its exclusivity.
Partnering with a luxury watchmaker would perfectly match his on-field image and personal brand. It is also a brand he loves, given his knack for showing his watch off at times. Given Audemars Piguet’s exclusivity and limited production, this deal would be a game changer in the NIL space.
