Earlier, Deion Sanders, Buffs coach and Shedeur’s dad had scoffed at talks of his son being drafted ninth. Joel Klatt keeps Shedeur Sanders atop his NFL draft predictions
Shedeur Sanders have admitted that he doesn’t mind not being the first overall. However, he is still keeping his hopes, considering he’s meeting the Tennessee Titans management this week.

Fox College Football analyst Joel Klatt not only considers Shedeur Sanders the best player in the upcoming draft but also views him as the undisputed No. 1 pick. Klatt provided a detailed analysis of Sanders’ strengths, even drawing a comparison between aspects of his game and Hall of Fame Vikings quarterback Fran Tarkenton.
I think he’s a clear No. 1 quarterback… If he has time and he can diagnose what’s going on, he can be surgical in the pocket. I believe that he has a chance to be much better in the NFL than he was even at Colorado.
Joel Klatt said on The Joel Klatt Show
Joel Klatt, however, doesn’t see the Tennessee Titans picking Shedeur Sanders. Klatt explained that New York Giants, who are in dire need of a quarterback, would draft up to draft Sanders.
I don’t think Shedeur Sanders is going to want to play in Tennessee… I believe Tennessee trades the first pick. I believe that the Giants jump up to No. 1, from three to one. They do have a great relationship with Shedeur Sanders. They have vetted him out several times; I believe that it is reciprocal there.
