The Colorado Buffaloes appear to have bounced back from the humiliating loss against Nebraska in Week 2 of the college football season, but they sure aren’t humbled by it. After clinching a 28-9 feat against the Colorado State Rams, Shedeur Sanders couldn’t help throwing a brutal jab aimed at the opposing quarterback.
The CSU’s Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi was among the many who criticized the Buffaloes because of their Week 2 loss, calling it a “rude awakening.” As Sanders stepped on the field of Fort Collins, he had Fowler-Nicolosi’s remark in a loop in his head. That’s why, when Sanders outperformed CSU, he made it clear that he won’t tolerate any disrespect from them.
In the viral clip, Sanders can be seen taunting Fowler-Nicolosi saying, “You can’t f**k with me,” before the latter, sporting a green jersey, turned his face around to move in another direction.
Although Sanders wanted to re-establish himself as a threat after he left the field without finishing up the game the previous week, it backfired into trolls and ended up labeling him as “rude” all over social media.
Shedeur Sanders leads Colorado to victory with four touchdowns against CSU
After the lackluster start of the season, the Buffaloes came back strong in Week 3 of the 2024 season as they outperformed Colorado State 28-9. From the beginning, the Buffaloes were in the lead, as the senior quarterback threw a four-yard touchdown pass by connecting with LaJohntay Wester and brought his team at a 7-0 lead.
However, the Rams fought back in the first quarter by making a field goal and putting three points on the scoreboard. As the second quarter began, the Buffaloes took over the entire field shortly after Travis Hunter and Sanders successfully logged a 10-yard touchdown pass and granted them a lead of 14-3 at halftime.
Till the fourth quarter, the Rams remained with a mere three points because of the strong Buffs defense. Meanwhile, their opponents were in the lead at 21-3 after logging another touchdown of 12-yard.
The Rams finally scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, moving up the ladder at 9 points. But the game was already out of their hands by then, and after scoring another touchdown, the Buffaloes won the match at 28-9.
