Colorado Buffaloes stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are biding their time to take part in meetings with teams ahead of next year’s NFL Draft. With several teams still in play for the top picks, the duo are still unclear which teams they will play for.
Sanders, however, seems to have it down to two teams as the New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders are at the bottom of the standings. If they continue to lose their remaining games, the Giants will likely snatch the Colorado Buffaloes signal caller.
Travis Hunter, though, has more options and the remaining four weeks of games will reveal who has the better chance at snagging the dual-threat superstar. As that has dominated most of the discussions to date, Shedeur Sanders was asked this question by his teammate on The Travis Hunter Show.
To this, Sanders replied:
This brought out a ‘Bruh’ reply from Hunter, and they both chuckled at the thought. This laugh could indicate the 21-year-old may not want to be drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team has struggled all throughout this season.

More importantly for Hunter, quarterback Trevor Lawrence was a major question mark on a team that had significant offensive personnel upgrades this past offseason. However, with Lawrence now out for the season, they could be in play to pick Hunter.
The right fit for Travis Hunter
Shedeur Sanders could be in the best situation with either the New York Giants or the Las Vegas Raiders. But for Travis Hunter, the plethora of options make for a head scratching situation. HC Deion Sanders did say that he will interfere if the wrong team were to pick his two superstars.
That means he would want a team to select Hunter only if they are willing to use his dual-threat skills. Giants WR Malik Nabers suggested his team would be an ideal fit for Hunter, as his elite skills on both ends of the field would be handy if they are to battle for the playoffs.
But the Giants need a quarterback more than anything, seemingly ruling them out of contention. That leaves the likes of the New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers, Tennessee Titans, Jaguars and the Cleveland Browns.
Since marketability is a major factor for Travis Hunter, the Titans, Jaguars or the Browns may not suit him. Carolina is also a smaller than usual market. But the Panthers have Bryce Young improving at a fast pace, and the team playing much better football.
That leaves the New England Patriots as the best position to land the two-way star. They have a talented rookie in Drake Maye and an up-and-coming coach in Jerod Mayo. The Boston based team will also have the most salary cap in the league at $132 million, while also having 43 players under contract. That means they could splurge in free agency to attract some crucial pieces to unlock their next level.
