Shilo Sanders breaks silence on him and brother Shedeur possibly playing for the Raiders: “If my dad can LeBron James that thang”

Even though there's still a year left for the next NFL draft, there's already speculations that the Sanders brothers could end up playing for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Shilo Sanders wouldn’t mind playing for the Las Vegas Raiders alongside his brother, Shedeur Sanders. However, it would be difficult for the franchise to draft both players.

The Sanders brothers, along with their dad and Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, attended the Big 12 media at the Raiders Allegiant Stadium on Wednesday. Shedeur, as expected, attracted most of the limelight, but Shilo was asked quite a few questions as well.

One of the topics that has been making the rounds on social media is about the two brothers playing for the Raiders in 2025. Danny from Vegas Sports Today posed this question to 24-year-old Shilo.

Your dad [Deion Sanders] talked about potentially having 4 first-round draft picks coming out of Colorado next year. Right now, a lot of early draft projections have your brother [Shedeur Sanders] in the top 10 and Travis [Hunter] in the top 15. Your dad did say he would love for him to play here... under AP [Antonio Pierce].

Sanders was patiently listening to the question and delivered a cheeky remark.

You know I am going to the league also, right?
Shilo Sanders asked

Without making any further fuss, he claimed it would be nice to play for the Raiders with everyone else.

The package deal... that would be cool, or my dad just LeBron James that thing that will be great, which is fine.

Shilo Sanders’ draft stock may hinder his dream of playing together with Shedeur and Travis Hunter

The Sanders brothers received the green light from Coach Prime, who remarked that ‘it would be nice’ to see all three playing for the Raiders. He also revealed that they would have a meeting set up with the front office before they left Nevada for Colorado.

The Raiders will have three amazing players on their team, but the catch is the draft stock. Shedeur Sanders will most likely be in the top 10, and Hunter will end up as a first rounder as well.

However, Shilo’s draft stock plummeted earlier this year after suffering an injury, projecting a fourth or fifth-round pick. If Sanders wants to increase his draft points, then he must prove it during the 2024 season.

On top of that, most franchises will consider past incidents. While in high school, Shilo got involved in an altercation with security guard John Darjean, which left him injured. The school filed a lawsuit in court against Shilo for an astounding $11.89 million.

Regardless, Shilo Sanders had a very good 2023 season, racking up 67 tackles, one interception, and four forced fumbles. He needs to improve on those numbers and help the Buffaloes record a winning season or possibly playoffs to be counted in the same bracket as his teammates.
