Jade Cargill took on Candice LeRae and Tiffany Stratton in a Triple Threat match on the latest episode of SmackDown. The winner of the match would be slated to win a spot in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match in Toronto, Canada. The match also saw Nia Jax come down to ringside. The Samoan has formed somewhat of an alliance with the former NXT Women’s Champion over the past few weeks.

The match became highly chaotic with the interference of Nia Jax and Bianca Belair. The duo was eventually sent off by the referee, Dan Engler. Indi Hartwell then attacked Jade Cargill, sending her into the ring post. LeRae took advantage of the situation and sent The Storm out of the ring. She shifted her focus to Stratton and went for a springboard moonsault.

The 25-year-old was able to get her knees up in time. She ran to the turnbuckle, jumped up, and delivered the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on the Poison Pixie. This allowed her to get the pinfall and pick up the victory. Tiffany Stratton will now be one of six contenders in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Both Cargill and her tag team partner, Bianca Belair, have now missed out on qualifying for the ladder match. The EST was tasked with defeating Chelsea Green and Michin. She hit her iconic KOD on Mia Yim and was closing in on the victory. However, the Hot Mess pushed her out of the ring just in time, stealing the victory and qualifying for the ladder match.

Cargill wasn’t going to let things slide after the former NXT Women’s Champion cost her a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. She decided to even out the score later during the show. Hartwell had her own qualifying match later on SmackDown against Blair Davenport and Naomi.

The match seemed to be going Hartwell’s way when Cargill decided to make an appearance. This time, it was the former AEW star who smashed her opponent into the ring post. After which, she threw her back inside for her friend, Naomi to finish her off. The former Women’s Champion landed a sunset flip and pinned the 27-year-old for the victory.

Following this incident, a tag team match was announced for next week’s episode of SmackDown. The team of Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae will face the former Women’s Tag Team champions next Friday.
