Manu made it to the finals of all the events she participated in at the Shooting World Cup but she failed to bag a medal in the individual events. Bhaker finished seventh in both 10m air pistol and 25m pistol events in Croatia. Her performance following some impressive showing in Delhi last year was a surprise for many.

Bhaker’s lone medal in the tournament was the silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with Saurabh Chaudhary. They fought back valiantly from 6-2 and then from 12-6 to level out the match twice.

However, the consistency of the Russians deterred the Indians from picking up the title at the World Cup. The winning streak of the young Indians unfortunately stopped, but they managed to bag a silver medal which was a great feat.
