Khabib and Mcgregor fought each other 2 years ago for the Lightweight championship. A lot of bad blood led to the fight with Mcgregor talking about Khabib’s father. His religion, his family and the infamous bus incident. After Khabib won the fight and after the infamous post-fight brawl. Khabib made it perfectly clear that he wants nothing to do with Mcgregor anymore.

However, like many interviews, this time too, the topic shifted to Conor Mcgregor again. Stephen A Smith asked his question to the champ with as much grace as possible like he normally does.

“A lot of times, particularly in the fight game, you talk about giving the people what they want to see,” Smith said. “One of the things I said last week talking about you. Sir, was that you really, really don’t want to fight somebody like Conor McGregor again. Primarily because you don’t like him and you think fighting him again gives him attention that you don’t believe he deserves. How accurate is that?”

Nurmagomedov replied brutally: “Right now, even I don’t want to talk about this sh*t.”

After the interview aired, Ali Abdelaziz- the CEO of Dominance MMA and Khabib’s manager. He took to Twitter to address the situation.

He said, “Honestly most media so disrespectful enough with the stupid question about Conor or GSP The best 2 lightweights ever will fight on Saturday show the man some respect it pissing me off”

It is to safe to say that reporters should now beware of what they ask Khabib about in the future.
