Following a $13 million music deal, LiAngelo Ball claimed his rap and basketball were better than legend Cam'ron's.

LiAngelo Ball claims he is superior to Cam'ron in rap
LiAngelo Ball and Cam’ron have been indulging in rap beef for quite some time now. Amid the exchange of barbs, the former has a lot more to say after signing a major deal with Def Jam Recordings. In a recent appearance on 360 with Speedy, the basketball star made waves by claiming he was a better rapper than the legendary musical artist.
Apart from sports, LiAngelo Ball, or Gelo, is currently turning heads with his surprise rap hit “Tweaker” leading to his $13 million contract. In conversation with Speedy Morman, the basketball star answered how he dealt with negativity surrounding his back and forth with Cam’ron.
Gelo was unnervingly calm throughout the segment as he claimed to feign ignorance. Subsequently, he was of the opinion that his music was superior to that of the opposing rapper, much like his basketball. The comment was taken by surprise by the fans as well as Morman.
They don’t know me at all. I don’t know Cam’ron, bro. I think I rap colder than him. Basketball, colder than them n***as.

However, he did say he won’t go on to the internet to claim his expertise over Cam’ron’s. Having said that, he acknowledged the latter rapper’s status in the industry and respected his fans. Of the conference, Gelo reassured that he knew it was coming his way. Much like it, he also made backups for his music with his $13 million deal. As he mentioned in the podcast, he owned all his music, knowing how the situation could turn.

LiAngelo Ball and Cam’ron started taking shots at each other a few months before Tweaker took over the internet. The two disputed the latter’s decision to go awry from his brother’s legacy in the NBA.
The fans don’t see the end of this by a far mile, but Gelo sure is making moves in the music industry. He is also scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud California in March, where he will join an already star-studded lineup featuring the likes of Playboi Carti, Sexyy Red, and ASAP Rocky, among others.

LiAngelo Ball went straight to the point as he shared he had never met anybody who had Cam’ron in their top 10 artists. He went on to say that it meant the two had rounded up in the same boat. Much like Gelo’s inability to make the league, he mentioned it was Cam’ron’s to not make it to the public’s top 10.
The comment significantly contracted fire on the internet for the audacity of it. The retort was not ignored by the experienced rapper. Cam’ron went ahead on his podcast to respond to the claims by listing his achievements as a rapper and producer.
