When you’re the GOAT at something, it is only fair that you let everyone know about it! Simone Biles showed up to the All-Around finals for the gymnastic event rocking a goat pendant after she recently led Team USA to yet another gold medal.
Simone Biles went on to win the All-Around Olympic gold medal, however, her necklace stole the show. The GOAT necklace has 546 diamonds as per Janet Heller Fine Jewelry, the maker of this chain. She wore it as a response to her critics and doubters, and to remind herself of who she is.
Simone Biles was getting sued for having fans call her the greatest gymnast of all time, so she believed it was only fair that she got a pendant that established that.
It's a little ode...I mean, a lot of people love it. They always call me the GOAT. So I thought it would be really special if I got one made. The haters hate it, so I love that even more. It's just a special part of me that I have here. In the (Olympic) village I have a stuffed goat. Just to get a reminder. Like: 'You can go out there, you can do it. You've done it before. SO let's go.Simone Biles said after completing her victory at Bercy Arena
The chain worked like a charm as she won her second gold medal at the Paris Olympics. It takes her tally to nine Olympic medals throughout her career.
Simone Biles now has 39 total victories in her career between the Olympics and the World Championships
The most decorated gymnast in American history has embraced the GOAT tag on previous occasions. She once wore a leotard with a goat motif at the 2021 US national championships. On Tuesday, after Team USA won the gymnastics gold, she posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions,” taking a shot at her critics including former Olympian McKayla Skinner that doubted this squad.
With her most recent victory along with her teammate Sunisa Lee, who took the bronze at the individual all-around event, Biles becomes the third woman in the history of the Olympics to win the all-around gold medal twice, and the first since the 1960s. This win was special for the gymnast as she made her comeback after a rough 2020 showing at the Tokyo Olympics.

Simone Biles started the night off with a strong showing on the vault with her signature Yurchenko double pike and scored a solid 15.766, gaining a narrow edge over second-place Andrade. However, on the uneven bars, Biles did not perform as well as she usually does and managed to earn just 13.733. However, a strong performance on the balance beam put her back in first place by a margin of 0.166 points. Following the floor exercise, Biles managed to win the entire contest by 1.199 points.
