Decorated gymnast Simone Biles shared sneak peak of her father Ronald Biles‘s 75th birthday bash with wholesome pictures on Instagram stories. The post came after celebrating his birthday during the Paris Olympics. One of the stories had her father involved in a slow dance with his 47 year long dance partner, Nellie Biles.

On 24th of August, the seven-time Olympic champion posted a picture of her father on her Instagram story wishing him on the great milestone. Ronald Biles wore a Cleveland Browns jersey with orange shorts. He stood in front of what appeared to be a living room which showed orange-brown balloons. In another one of the videos, she shared a boomerang of her and her father clinking their glasses in a cheer.

Ronald Biles’ actual birthday was on 8th August, when the Biles family was at the Paris Olympics. Back in Paris, the gymnast shared pictures of her father with a special gift he received from Snoop Dogg. Her sister, Adria Biles, also celebrated her father by posting his picture wearing the gold Death Row Records necklace. During the family’s time in Paris, Snoop Dogg became close to the Biles family.

A day after their celebrations, she posted on the gram, an expensive Hermes bag. She revealed it was a gift from her parents. Simone Biles’ parents have been a constant presence in her life. The decorated gymnast has often talked about them being her biggest supporters.

Simone Biles talks parents and adoption

In an interview with Hoda Kotb after the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles was asked about that something she wouldn’t be here without. The American gymnast credited her parents and her adoption, expressing how it was a turning point in her life. She believed that they gave her a second shot at life. She even credited her parents for helping her achieve her dreams after the Tokyo Olympics fiasco.

This was not the first time the celebrated gymnast talked about or appreciated her parents. Matter of fact, she has always been open about having a close relationship with them. This comes especially after what she and her sister endured in their childhood.

Simone Biles and her sister Adria Biles spent 3 years in foster care after their biological mother, Shannon struggled with raising them. Later they were adopted by their Shannon’s parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles. Technically they are her grandparents but she made it clear that she consider them her parents.
