Simone Biles and the US gymnastics team etched themselves in history by bagging gold at the Paris Olympics. That called for an iconic celebration. The team chose Kanye West‘s renowned Grammy speech for that moment.

Simone Biles and the team came back strong after the Tokyo Olympics mishap. The team- Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey came back to win on what they call the ‘redemption tour‘. They secured 171.296 points which took Italy(165.494) to second and Brazil(165.497) to third. Biles, on the other hand, grabbed her 8th gold equaling herself to the legendary Usain Bolt.

Suni Lee went on to the gram to post the video featuring her teammates lip-syncing to an iconic Grammy speech by the rapper, Kanye West. Lee and Jordan started out by saying, “Everybody want to know what I would do if I didn’t win.” Later they were joined by the entire team with gold medals shrugging off with the final line, “I guess we will never know.”

After the sweet victory of the women’s all-around gymnastics final, Simone Biles and Suni Lee started discussing their post-event plans. The NBC cameras caught it without a glitch. Without wasting any time, they took to their social media and uploaded the videos.

Women Gymnastics Team USA at their TikTok Game

The women’s Gymnastics team enjoyed their victory by making TikToks on their favorite sounds. Simone Biles and Suni Lee were heard discussing that they wanted to make videos on the Kanye West sound and the ‘chomping’ sound.

Nailing the TikTok game, Biles posted one where she used Megan Thee Stallion‘s sound. The video blew up with millions of views with people rallying behind her in her victory. It also got three hearty-eyes emoji response on Twitter from the singer herself.

In another one of their videos, they used the ‘chomping’ sound that Biles and Lee talked about. The sound was initially from an ASMR video. The team enacted eating their medals with a munching noise in the background. The post was captioned, “TASTE GOLDEN”. As far as symbolisms go, the team ate and left no crumbs.
