Simone Biles is among the most celebrated Olympians, with 8 Olympic medals, 5 being gold. Adding to that, she has 30 World Championship medals, 23 gold, four silver, and three bronze. Yet, some people just couldn’t help but criticize her for her hair at the Paris Olympics. Simone Biles went on to clap back at the haters.

One can break world records but cannot please everybody on the internet. Simone Biles head to Instagram ahead of receiving her 5th gold medal and set the records straight. She posted a video of herself on the Olympic bus and let them know that the hair was done properly, but it got messed up due to the lack of an AC.

Don't come for me about my hair. Next time you wanna comment on a black girl's hair. JUST DON'T.

Not too bad, though. Biles said she held the critics’ hands when she said this. The Olympian has been scrutinized for her appearances many times before. She addressed the nature of public opinion in her Netflix documentary Simone Biles Rising.

Biles addressed that the detractors would say anything hurtful on social media and adhere to overrated beauty standards. Other than mental health, Simone Biles has always been open about her relationship with her hair. Afro-centric hair is a tough deal to crack, and many women resonate with her on the struggles.

Simone Biles and the team have a pretty accurate nickname

The United States women’s gymnastics team took home a gold in the team final on Tuesday. It was a heartwarming day, considering Biles missed out on gold in the Tokyo Olympics. After the victory, the team was asked the name of their team, just like they asked every other team.

The team decided on the abbreviation “FAAFO” to represent the phrase “F around and find out.” After the performance, it was an approximately accurate description of what the team could do.

However, it was not the actual name of their team. Later that night, Simone Biles tweeted about what the team name could actually be.

Okay on the real though, the official team name is golden girls.

The Olympic gold medalist reasoned it with them being the oldest Olympic team in gymnastics. The comments section approved the new name, filling it with hearty congratulations and appreciation. It also remains opposite to the NFSW-themed nickname that they had termed initially.
