Simone Biles’ sister Adria recently joined Chris Osmond to talk about the Paris Games and the Olympian’s future plans. During the interview, Adria expressed how Biles has encouraged her and her strong bond as siblings.

From their time in foster care to finally being home with their parents, the duo has always been inseparable. Their bond even led the two youngsters to pursue the same career, and eventually, Biles rose to one of the highest peaks in the sports world.

Sometimes, strong connections can make or indicate negative feelings your loved ones are experiencing or may experience. A similar kind of thing happened with Adria when Biles was all alone competing in the Tokyo 2020 Games, without the support of her family.

It was 5:00 a.m. and I had work at like 7:00 a.m. And she was competing and it was when she did her vault and I don’t know what happened, but she had the twisties and I like woke up, and I was like something’s wrong. Like it was the weirdest feeling.

As soon as she got up from the dream, she went down to the living room where her parents were watching the Olympic Games. Just minutes after a phone call came and Biles said she was going to quit due to mental health issues.

The time was hard for Biles, and her family as they couldn’t be together due to strict COVID protocols. It was also the first time her family couldn’t attend her games, and their ill feelings unfortunately came true.

Nevertheless, Simone Biles proved in the 2024 Olympic Games what it takes to be an Olympian as she grabbed three gold and one bronze medal. Her comeback was widely celebrated throughout the sports community.

Simone Biles future plans and life with Jonathan Owens

Since the Paris Games ended, Biles has been spending most of her time with her husband Jonathan Owens as much as they can, before both of their hectic schedules pull them apart. Adria Biles recently commented in an interview with Chris Osmond how she thought the 2024 Olympics might be her last.

However, when asked about Biles’s future plans and participation in the 2028 Olympics, she said she’s still not sure but is willing to keep that door open and see what happens. Currently, she’s busy spending her time with her loved ones.

During the segment, Adria mentioned how she did not like Owens at first, and thought his inclusion in Biles’ life had taken out their sibling time. She openly admitted that she is possessive over her sister and did not like the idea of anyone taking her away.

You know what's so funny, I'm like so annoying, because I'm like that's my sister like I'm so selfish with her…So, when she met Jonathan, I was not happy. I knew he was a good guy and they were great but I was like, ‘You’re taking my time away from her’ and I was so annoyed.

But now she’s accepting him as part of the family. Simone Biles even spoke about having kids with Jonathan Owens. She said that she “most definitely” sees herself as a mom and the duo is ready to be a parent whenever they accomplish their set goals.
