GOAT Simone Biles is ready for a comeback at the Paris Olympics 2024 after taking a sudden break during the 2021 Tokyo Games. She’ll be accompanied by star-studded athletes Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera. 

Apart from the 16-year-old, the four were part of the Tokyo Games where they face unexpected challenges due to Biles’s mental breakdown and twisties. However, the group believes the upcoming competition be their redemption race to secure top-notch results and prove “we’re more mature, we’re smarter, we’re more consistent.”

According to reports, the idea of “redemption” was inspired by Biles and Lee as they returned to another Olympic competition. In their last race, the team secured silver and five individual medals. The ending race bore disgruntled fan’s emotions as public scrutiny doubled down on Biles. The 4x Olympic gold medalist says she’s ready for the upcoming competition despite claiming “they want to see us fail.”

Biles admits that the team “weren’t under the best circumstances” during the 2021 Olympic games but they are now confident “we’re stronger than what we showed in Tokyo.” She also expressed that despite their mental breakdown and year-long break “I knew I’d be back.”

Taylor Swift expressed her adoration over Simone Biles‘s choice of song for the floor routine at the 2024 US Trials. Biles surprised the fans with Swift’s song ‘Ready for It’ from her 2017 album ‘Reputation’.

Biles not only celebrated the event with Taylor Swift’s song but also talked about her husband Jonathan Owens‘s support of her 2024 Olympics preparations. She stated that Owens would be by her side for a short while after getting “a couple days off from training camp.”

She thanked her coaches, friends, family, and teammates for being by her side during the tough times. Biles admitted that without everyone’s support, she wouldn’t have made a comeback and be positive about competing once again in the Olympics.
