Simone Biles won gold for Team USA at the Paris Olympics. Following the victory, she appeared to take a dig at former teammate MyKayla Skinner in an Instagram post. Skinner had criticized the team’s talent and work ethic in a now-deleted YouTube video.

MyKayla Skinner had represented the U.S. in Tokyo 2020. She had criticized Biles and her teammates, claiming the girls “just don’t have the work ethic.”

Biles previously responded to Skinner’s comments, writing, “Not everyone needs a mic and a platform.” Biles said the gold medal “means the world” and that the team had something to prove from Tokyo 2020.
