The Philadelphia 76ers are currently hitting the curb with the fans hoping the organization will lock in. However, the franchise president, Daryl Morey, recently found himself called out over the slack. Patrick Beverley’s co-host, Adam Ferrone, was the one to share his findings on the GM.

In Beverley’s latest episode of ‘Pat Bev Pod’, Ferrone asked him to describe the picture on his phone. Featuring pop singer Kesha, the social media post was pictures of her from her vacation surrounded by snow in a bikini. Left confused, Ferrone revealed it was Morey’s like on the picture that stunned him. The podcaster then grumbled while critiquing the Sixers president’s focus, which was derailing from the franchise.

Ferrone emphasized the state of the team being “20 games under.” Additionally, he bashed Morey with comparisons to Paul George, who took a break from his podcast to focus on the team. Patrick Beverley tried standing up for the Sixers president, alleging it might have been an oversight while scrolling on social media. However, Ferrone didn’t seem to be having it.

The Sixers had an embarrassing 2024-25 season, with their situation worsening. Philadelphia has a 21-41 record as they stand on 11th in the Eastern Conference. Notably, their chances to make it to the playoffs are extremely slim.

Daryl Morey sees playoffs in Sixers’ Future

All the pressure from the public has got nothing on the Sixers president. While Daryl Morey acknowledges the confining spot around the team, he still has hope left in them. In a recent press conference amid the stressful season, the organization president shared his opinion on the team.

Morey expressed his confidence in his team, whom he alleged could do it. However, he wasn’t all ignorant toward the hurdles in the road. At the end of the day, the team was solely focused on the championship.

While Morey had made plenty of plans going into the season, they were left squashed in front of them. Acknowledging them, he blamed injuries for having lost the big games this season. Regardless, it remains to be seen how the Sixers see the end of it.
