Officiating in the Kansas City Chiefs matchup against the Houston Texans has become a major subject of discussion across the league. However, sports analyst Skip Bayless is convinced that the NFL is intentionally protecting the Chiefs to profit from Taylor Swift’s influence like last season.
The referees are reportedly favoring the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs, as two major penalties were drawn against the Texans’ Will Anderson Jr. and Henry To’oTo’o for hitting the elite quarterback, which resulted in a 10-point boost for the Chiefs. Among the many critics who questioned the controversial officiating calls, Bayless took aim at Swifties and accused the league of protecting the three-time Super Bowl champion.
I just finished watching Texans at Chiefs, and it made me sick in my stomach. I’m not gonna be able to sleep because I’ll keep thinking about those two outrageous phantom penalties– 15-yard flags thrown for Patrick Mahomes. The NFL protected Patrick Mahomes and made sure he’s getting back to yet another home AFC championship game that will give him a great shot at getting to yet another Super Bowl game, whose ratings will go through the roof– this one in New Orleans because of the Swifties. The NFL is now prisoner of the Swifties.

This can only happen if her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his team advance to the Super Bowl. After all, last season’s Super Bowl game between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers was the most-watched game in the history of the NFL.

Please somebody tell me what possessed Caitlin Clark to associate with Taylor Swift? Caitlin, you are better than that. You’re bigger than she is. Stay on your own path. Blaze your own trail. Clark’s association with the “Lover” singer isn’t something new, as she has previously expressed her admiration for Swift and her huge fandom. The WNBA superstar also attended one of her popular Eras Tour concerts in Indianapolis, accompanied by a couple of her former college teammates.
