Bronny James made his debut for the Los Angeles Lakers as the part of NBA Summer League. He had a slow start in the summer league and failed to deliver to the fullest. The young James still needs time to develop his game before the regular season starts. However, he has showcased great athleticism for someone who is 6’2″.
Veteran analyst, Skip Bayless talked about Bronny James and his performance so far in the league. Bayless made an early statement about the young star after the three summer league games he played. Bayless is known for his weird takes and the strong opinions he has about LeBron James. But he is still keeping his faith in Bronny James as he plays in his first season soon.
During the show “Undisputed” Bayless stated that the bar he has set for Bronny is way low because of his poor performance. Bayless might sound harsh but his concerns are right. During Bronny’s game with the Boston Celtics, he scored just 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assists. He went 1-5 from shooting from deep and the Lakers ended up losing to the Celtics.

The young James is still 19 years old and has got time to improve on his game. He has shown blueprints of a great defender. James needs to elevate his scores in the Summer League so that he can get some quality minutes to play in the regular season alongside his father LeBron James.
Bronny James had a poor outing against the Boston Celtics
Recently, the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Summer League. Bronny James was also playing for the Lakers. James had a poor game on the offensive end. He is been battling a rough offensive streak in the summer league.
During the game, Bronny just had 1-5 shooting from the field and 0-3 from the free throw line. He also shot two airballs from the three-point line. Bronny just scored 2 points against the Celtics. Many Lakers fans have shown concern about Bronny’s current form. Many fans and experts have started to criticize the young star. Fans have even been vocal about Bronny’s disappointing performance.
Overall his performance in the Summer League has been a disappointment as he has not able to deliver on the promise. The player also carries the burden and pressure of being the son of LeBron James and might be under pressure. He has to elevate his averages in the coming matches to ensure more minutes in the coming season.
