Skip Bayless dumps the Chiefs poor Super Bowl LIX performance on Taylor Swift and swifties
Despite his Eagles rivalry, Skip Bayless found comfort in blaming Taylor Swift for the Chiefs' Super Bowl LIX loss.

As a devout Dallas Cowboys fan, Skip Bayless is supposed to hate the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the former ESPN and FOX contributor hates another person even more, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend and pop icon Taylor Swift.
Bayless was uncharacteristically happy seeing the Eagles win their second Super Bowl in seven years while the Cowboys can’t seem to drag themselves out from the eternal rebuild they are in. Then again, the pain was bearable because the Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22, ending their dreams of three-peating.
Bayless went on his usual rant on his YouTube channel and did not spare Taylor Swift.
I loved how much they [Eagles] put the Chiefs back in their places. Stomped on their growing pride. Their spillover pride. Shut up the Swifties. Cry, Taylor, cry. I predicted this was gonna happen. They got even tonight for what happened in Glendale two years ago. Way to go Eagles.

Bayless has been a staunch believer that Swift’s constant presence on TV screens ruins the viewing experience for football fans. The reaction in New Orleans was only the tip of the iceberg.
Before the Chiefs AFC Championship fixture against the Buffalo Bills, Bayless accused the NFL of rigging the game to make sure Swift got to appear in the Super Bowl back to back years.
The memo will go out, just like last week: ‘Make sure Taylor Swift makes it to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. Without her, the NFL will lose millions and millions of viewers who want to watch, especially to see what she’s wearing in that fancy Superdome box.

Bayless wasn’t the only one throwing shades at Taylor Swift
NOLA welcomed a myriad of superstars on Sunday. Even the President of the USA Donald Trump couldn’t shake off his football bug and dropped by with his daughter Melania. This was the first time any sitting president attended a Super Bowl game.
After the loss, Trump shared his thoughts on the Chiefs’ loss while taking potshots at Swift.
The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!

Former World No. 1 tennis player Serena Williams who took part in the Super Bowl halftime show came to Swift’s defense.
Swift has a fanbase stretching across continents but even the most famous woman in the world has critics. Besides Bayless, the city of Philadelphia felt betrayed after she took up the mantle of the Chiefs despite growing up in the city. The scenes on the streets of Philly and outside of the Caesers Superdome in NOLA, proved they don’t like her.
