Cowboys fanatic Skip Bayless boldly picks Brock Purdy and Jordan Love over Dak Prescott

It appears Skip Bayless hasn’t yet forgiven the Dallas Cowboys– the team he has been supporting throughout his life, especially quarterback Dak Prescott for the embarrassing 32-8 loss of the playoffs last season. As someone who once was advocating for the quarterback to land a deserving extension has now picked another player over him. 

In the recent episode of Undisputed, the former Cowboys fanatic asserted that at any given moment of time, he would pick the San Francisco 49ers’ QB and Green Bay Packers’ QB over Prescott, claiming he would win more games with them as compared to the Cowboys’ signal-caller. 

I’m gonna speak as a Cowboys fan or you can dismiss me as a crazy Cowboys fan if you want, but right here and right now, I would take Brock Purdy over Dak Prescott. I would take Jordon Love…I will take Jalen Hurts over Dak Prescott any Sunday, Monday, or Thursday given to me.

Bayless further clarified that by winning more games, he was speaking in reference to the postseason where Prescott has the worst record. As his co-host, Keyshawn Johnson argued that in the regular season, the quarterback won 12-13 games.

While talking about Prescott, the sports analyst Bayless quoted some lines from an ESPN article that highlighted how the signal-caller does make a place among the top quarterbacks in the league, but “never gets over the hump.” He then compared it with a praise of the 49ers’ quarterback by quoting an NFL executive, claiming Purdy will lead the Niners to the Super Bowl.

Bayles further compared Purdy with Prescott on a more upscale level, admitting that though he may not see much difference, the Niners’ star certainly has an upper hand with his ability to move around more. 

Brock Purdy can move around, I think he moves around better than Dak does. And yet in the tangibles, when it’s time to make deep throws, which wins the games, I’ll take Brock Purdy.

Bayless clarified that he didn’t pick Purdy before Prescott for personal reasons, but because he has been observing the former throughout last season.
