“He’s your best and only friend!” Skip Bayless slams Jerry Jones for keeping Mike McCarthy as Cowboys HC despite blowout loss against Lions

The Dallas Cowboys had the opportunity to keep winning with their home crowd rallying behind them. They also had the momentum of winning two straight games where they showed grit. Against the Detroit Lions, it was not going to be an easy task.
However, the least HC Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott could do was give owner Jerry Jones a birthday gift with another gritty win. Except, it was time for another Skip Bayless rant.
The longtime Dallas Cowboys fan and analyst was watching the game unfold from his home. After letting it all sink in, he took to his official X account to give his piece of mind to the Cowboys owner.
Skip Bayless finished his rant by wishing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones an 82nd Happy Birthday. But that birthday wish was finished with suggesting that Bayless as a fan was dying.

Implying that Cowboys fans such as him were dying as fans whereas Jones was living on to watch this embarrassment. “America’s team” finished the game with a grand total of nine points. From an offense that was supposed to bear some fruit when Jones handed out more than $400 million to the top two players.
But the defense embarrassed themselves even more when they gave up 47 points. Now Bayless’ question brings to the fore if last season’s success was due to Dan Quinn‘s defense. A lack of consistency from either side of the ball showed the analyst that Mike McCarthy was at fault.
Stephen A. Smith joins his ex-colleague to bash Jerry Jones and Cowboys
Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless were partners in crime at ESPN at one point in time. They were part of heated debates where both argued relentlessly. But after this embarrassing loss, the ESPN analyst agreed with his former colleague. As his tweet on his X account read, “Patience, Folks! Patience.”
That tweet ended with a lot of laughing emoticons. As he knows all too well that patience is running out. Even his friend Jerry Jones’ patience could run out soon watching the way his team is becoming a national embarrassment.
Patience, Folks! Patience??????????????????

Stephen A. was on his podcast with Jerry Jones to help the owner come back into a good light with the public. But he knows all too well that nothing can save the billionaire after the team has stunk it up so far this season.
The Dallas Cowboys have not shown yet that they have anything consistently going on in any part of the game. Had it not been for wins against the struggling Browns and Giants, the team would have been at the bottom of the pile. Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have a lot to think about.
