LeBron James faced his second Career ejection in Lakers vs Detroit Pistons when he smacked Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart’s face with his elbow. That hit tore open the upper eye side and, things got a little bloody on the court.
The chaos pertained for quite a considerable time as Stewart would break his teammates and security staff’s arm tackles to charge towards LeBron. And not just for once.
People have bifurcated into groups: the ones who believe it was an accident and unintentional and those who think LeBron intentionally hit Stewart’s face. With the fans so are the commentators with their own theoretical explanation. And, Skip Bayless isn’t going to miss the opportunity when it comes to dragging LeBron James.
Skip Bayless demands a suspension for LeBron James
Skip Bayless is the most disliked man in sports. His unsteady temper and bad attitude are known to all. But what’s popular is his hate towards LeBron James which seems to originate in 2009 through a chat from ESPN’s SportsNation Chat and has pertained till this day.
And, now when the opportunity has presented itself in front of Bayless where there’s no explanation as to who’s wrong or right, Bayless has got to be the one to decide.
Whatever transpired between James and Isaiah on the court was a result of boxing out each other during rebounds but Isaiah Stewart’s reaction after that may surely get him a suspension and James’ stance for suspension is still unclear.
But broadcaster Skip Bayless wants LeBron to have a suspension. He broke down the whole incident frame by frame on his morning show Undisputed. On the show, he said, “If it’s not dirty, why did the refs take one quick look at it and throw LeBron out with a flagrant 2? How can a flagrant 2 NOT be dirty?”
The show Tweeted this segment, Skip Quote Tweeted it and added, “LeBron James closed his fist! And he looked at that man right in the face before leading with his elbow and then cold-cocking Isaiah with his forearm and the back of his fist! LeBron should be suspended.”
After saying so much, the man was surely dazzled when Lebron’s suspension news broke into the media. On Monday the NBA releases an official statement about the suspension of LeBron James. This is James’ first-ever game suspension in his 19-year career as an NBA player.
He tweeted in a joyous manner by writing, “ HOORAY FOR THE NBA. LeBron, suspended for tomorrow night’s game at MSG, the “mecca of basketball.” Looks like the league office agreed with me: what LeBron did to Isaiah Stewart was intentional and dirty – so egregious LBJ is gone for the Lakers lone game vs Knicks in NY. BRAVO!”
Skip Bayless just solidifies people’s dilemmatic questions whether he just dislikes LeBron or hates him to Hate him. He also mocked the Lakers for calling the scuffle a tuning for them in the league.
