Skip Bayless' X account gets hacked with hilarious apology message to LeBron James

Skip Bayless has always had his opinions made very clear on any topic, be it sports or any other aspect in life. In sports, the most he has talked about through his career as an analyst is either the Dallas Cowboys or LeBron James. But for the past few hours, he has not posted anything on his X account.

The reason for that inactivity was because his account has been hacked. As part of a major cryptocurrency scam featuring the Solana coin as well as other celebrity coins. The account has been hacked for over five hours and initially the profile picture was changed from that featuring the analyst to LeBron James in a Los Angeles Lakers jersey.

The hacker posted a few messages asking people to click on links to cryptocurrency pages. It seems like the hackers were supporters of Donald Trump as it had messages asking MAGA voters to aid in the cryptocurrency scam. But one message truly took the cake when it comes to hacked messages.

Hacked message on Skip Bayless’ X account

Naturally knowing his impression of the Los Angeles Lakers star, the hacker posted this message so as to inflict further damage to the analyst’s profile. He even went on to suggest that Skip Bayless did not have the resources to help recover his account.

After all those hours, it seems the hacker removed the profile picture of the all-time leading scorer. But the account still seems to be in the hands of the hacker even though other celebrities have managed to recover theirs.

Hacker reveals Skip Bayless’ intimate DMs

With access to his account, the hacker must have gone through all the direct messages Skip Bayless sent and received. After possibly going through them all, the hacker decided to give the analyst one last blow. In what is still the last message on the account at the time of writing this article, it read.

Hacker almost revealing Skip Bayless’ personal DMs

The hacker disabled comments since he/they took over the account. But for some reason, the hacker left the last three messages available for comments. The one talking about LeBron James did garner a lot of attention.

The latest message from the hacker had fans buzzing, many pleading for a reveal of the 72-year-old analyst’s DMs. While the hacker has yet to comply, the joke about James stirred curiosity, as exposing those private messages could potentially deal a significant blow to the analyst’s reputation.
