In a few hours, Patrick Mahomes will take on Josh Allen as the Kansas City Chiefs appear in their seventh straight AFC Conference championship game. The Chiefs, who won the last two Super Bowls, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers in 2022 and 2023, are on the cusp of becoming the first team in the NFL’s history, to do a three-peat.

With the rise of the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes stands at the forefront, steadily building his case as one of the greatest of all time (GOAT). The era of Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady has passed the torch to a new generation, and Mahomes now reigns supreme. With three championships and numerous records already to his name, he has firmly established himself as the leader of this new era.

The Green Bay Packers, along with eight other teams, have managed to win back-to-back titles, but no team has ever achieved three consecutive championships. What does it take to dominate the league of 32 teams for three straight years? To not just be the best once or twice, but to achieve greatness three times in a row? As Cam Newton said, it grants a taste of immortality—a glimpse of unmatched supremacy.

The three-peat also elevates Mahomes as the only quarterback to have achieved this, a statistic that Brady has never achieved. In light of the ongoing comparisons, Gerald ‘Smoke’ Dixon has commented on his thoughts on Mahomes and Brady.

Dixon admitted that Mahomes is far more dangerous even in the final minute when the team is up by thirteen points. He went on to add that Mahomes would score and somehow achieve that win and walk away smiling.

I am not afraid of Tom Brady with the ball in his hands at the end of the game…You are scared out of your mind if you’re up by 13 points with one minute left and Patrick [Mahomes] has the ball in his hands.

Josh Allen gains immense support amid calls to save Tom Brady’s legacy

In recent days, Josh Allen has emerged as a national symbol of hope, with social media platforms flooded with calls for him to end the Chiefs’ incredible run. Skip Bayless, a rather controversial sports commentator, has weighed in, urging Allen to protect Tom Brady’s legacy by defeating Patrick Mahomes in the conference championship game.

In his podcast The Skip Bayless Show, Bayless admitted that Mahomes’ wild run has driven him nuts. In his short career, Mahomes has already racked up three championships, four away from equalling Brady’s seven titles.

Hey Josh Allen, I need you, brother. I need you right here, right now, this Sunday at Arrowhead. I need you to help save Tom Brady’s legacy from Patrick Mahomes. This is driving me nuts. You’ve got to help save Tom Brady’s GOAT legacy from Patrick Mahomes.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes have faced off eight times, each winning four games. However, Mahomes holds the upper hand in the postseason, defeating Allen three times. Skip Bayless weighed in, declaring that this trend must end.

He also noted that the Bills have already beaten the Chiefs once this season, emphasizing that they know what it takes to get the job done. Earlier, Bayless has also addressed the NFL rule that Mahomes can’t keep not taking advantage of.
