After travelling through Greece and several locations in France, the torch will reach its final location signaling the start of the Olympic games.

Salma Hayek paving the way for Snoop Dogg

Like always, the committee was tight-lipped about the participants of the Olympic torch. However, it came to light that Salma Hayek is all done with playing her role. Hayek, known for her deep ties to France, lit the torch from the Yvelines suburb to the Versailles Palace. The Mexican actress posted on Instagram of the momentous occasion as she carried the torch of unity and peace.

Salma Hayek kept up the spirit of sports and dressed for the part. She wore a white tracksuit with orange stripes and white shoes, keeping up the elegance and sporty spirit. During this, Hayek was joined by fellow torch-bearers coach Didier Deschamps, singer Patrick Bruel, and soccer star Presnel Kimpembe.

Theater director Thomas Jolly, best known for the hit rock-opera musical “Starmania” has designed the show for the ceremony. It will be one for the books considering he has planned the opening ceremony outside of the stadium.
