Within the span of a year, C.J. Stroud has earned his place as one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. He led the Houston Texans to the second round of the playoffs and was just two wins shy from making it to the Super Bowl. Despite being 23 years of age, Stroud has behaved and played like a veteran QB in the league.
As he continues his stellar performance in year 2, C.J. Stroud now has better weapons on his offense with the addition of Stefon Diggs. This makes the Texans a dangerous team well-equipped to dethrone Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Iconic rapper and entertainer Snoop Dogg concurs with that sentiment. He shared his thoughts on Stroud during his latest appearance on ESPN’s First Take.
Snoop Dogg views C.J. Stroud as a top 3 quarterback in the NFL. He ranks Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson ahead of him but is confident that Stroud is capable of leading his team to a Super Bowl, but there is just one caveat to it.

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to stand in the way of their opponents in the postseason. Even though the team had its share of rocky moments last season, they were able to get back on track in the postseason and perform when it counts the most. Snoop Dogg believes as long as Stroud can get past Patrick Mahomes, him being a Super Bowl champion is inevitable.
Brushing aside the arguments of Joe Burrow being next to win the Super Bowl, Snoop Dogg believes Stroud is closer to achieving that feat.
I say this, if C.J. beat Patrick Mahomes, he gonna win the championship. If you going to knock off the ‘Brady Killer’ you got to get the whole thing.

The quarterback has the potential to get there and has shown his brilliance when it counts the most. The Texans sit atop the AFC South with a comfortable 5-1 record.
The only other team that was built to beat the Chiefs was the Cincinnati Bengals. However, it has been two years since Joe Burrow beat Mahomes in the playoffs, and this year, the Bengals have not been faring well. The numbers all point to the fact that C.J. Stroud should go next.
