‘So am I hearing the #ufcFightIsland hotel has a vacancy and needs a real man to come and do work January 20th?’ – Kevin Holland wants to fight Leon Edwards

Khamzat Chimaev vs Leon Edwards is off for the second time and the signs of the fight happening or being rebooked seems bleak. It is being said that it was Khamzat Chimaev who pulled out this time. The fight was first scheduled on the 19th of December, earlier this year, but it was scrapped due to Leon Edwards struggling from COVID-19. It was rescheduled again on the 20th of January, 2021, only to be scrapped again!

Speaking of this, Kevin Holland, who competes in the middleweight division, has expressed his desire to fight Leon Edwards, given that Khamzat has pulled out. Taking to Twitter, “The Trailblazer” claimed that he was very well up to ‘do work January 20th’.

“Rest up Khamzat, i’m sure ill see you soon. But I want to fight January 20th on the island @danawhite@seanshelby@ufc lets make it happen” –Leon Edwards made it clear that he wanted to fight on the 20th of January.

Kevin Holland, is coming off an impressive knockout victory over UFC veteran Jacare Souza, as recently as UFC 256. He is yet to be knocked out in his professional MMA career. But, in order to fight Leon Edwards, he will have to step down a weight division, to the welterweight division or else it we’ll be in for a catchweight bout.
