Sodapoppins gets banned from twitch a second time

Popular twitch streamer Sodapoppin got banned on the streaming platform twitch for a second time in his life today(14-04-2022) for reasons that have not been made clear yet by the streaming platform.

Fans however, do have a theory and we also think it might have something to do with it.

Sodapoppin’s Recent Stream Shenanigans

Not long after getting confirmation that sodapoppin had gotten banned from twitch, people began to speculate as to what may have gotten him banned from the platform and almost everyone thought of one thing and one thing only. In a more recent stream on 9th April, sodapoppin was having a session of “Are You Smarter Than The Crowd” and was tasked with giving his character a face. During which he painted brown paint all over his character and said, ” oh s**t, blackface” making a reference to the kind of theatrical makeup used by Americans in the 19th century while portraying people of the African American Community in shows, movies or plays.

After the edgy joke, he continued to make his character and crossed the line when he used red lipstick to portray the lips of the character making the blackface makeup complete and his chat went absolutely bonkers.

The streamer didn’t take long to respond to the allegations made upon him and said that he was edgy but not that edgy to actually make such a reference and that he didn’t give it much though when he was applying the red paint over the character’s mouth as he thought the joke had passed and was a thing of the past.

What the people think

People have taken this in multiple ways as we saw people calling the ban “well-deserved” while some others saying they know soda well enough from the countless hours they’ve watched him to know that he is indeed that stupid to actually let something of this calibre slip his mind.

Either way, it is still a mystery as to why soda was officially banned and when he might get unbanned and more importantly, will he?
