Since Roman Reigns‘ absence from WWE after losing his title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL, Solo Sikoa has taken charge of things. After kicking Jimmy Uso out for his failure at the Show of Shows, he introduced the WWE Universe to the two new members of The Bloodline. Now, from the reports, it appears that the third member could join the dominant faction soon.
The third member is Hikuleo, Tama Tonga‘s brother and Tonga Loa‘s cousin, who is currently wrestling in the NJPW promotion. According to a report from Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, he is finished with the Japanese promotion and could join WWE very soon. To be more specific, just like the Tongans, he could become the newest member of The Bloodline.
The 33-year-old star last wrestled at the Domination pay-per-view in a unique 4-way elimination tag team match. He and his tag team partner, El Phantasmo, are the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team champions. However, they lost the titles to Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste. Interestingly, following Tonga Loa’s debut at Backlash, Hikuleo took to social media and hinted at joining the Stamford-based company.
Many fans believed his gesture in the press conference of hugging El Phantasmo and leaving was part of a farewell. According to several reports, WWE wanted to sign Hikuleo around a year ago but failed to do so. However, looking at the current Bloodline situation, the 6ft 8inch star could be on his way to becoming a part of the dominant faction.
Fans react to the reports of Hikuleo joining WWE and The Bloodline soon
The reports of another real-life Bloodline member joining WWE have left fans with pretty mixed reactions. While some fans see this as an improvement in the already ongoing storyline, others are just sick of another Samoan wrestler joining the company.
One fan expressed dismay at WWE’s decision to pursue another storyline involving The Bloodline and Kevin Owens. Conversely, another fan was delighted, viewing it as a valuable addition to the dominant faction. Meanwhile, certain fans had already crafted their dream match, envisioning Reigns, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu facing off against Solo’s iteration of The Bloodline.
One user expressed their utter disappointment with them and hoped that they would improve with time. Other fans compared the group to the faction Nexus, which was led by Wade Barrett. Another user expressed excitement at the prospect of the entire Guerrillas of Destiny joining WWE. Some fans jokingly remarked that, after some time, half of the roster would be filled with Samoan wrestlers. Here are some of the standout reactions from fans:
It will be interesting to see Hikuleo getting accustomed to the new promotion. Exciting times ahead for The Bloodline.
