Although Cody Rhodes is not directly feuding against The Bloodline at the moment, his involvement with the Samoan faction never seems to end. On the latest episode of SmackDown, the WWE Undisputed Champion only had Gunther on his mind. However, he did face Solo Sikoa in a singles match for the fifteenth time after the cameras stopped rolling.
After the latest episode of SmackDown went off the air, Rhodes faced Solo Sikoa in a dark match. He defended his WWE Undisputed Championship in a street fight and successfully came out on top against the 31-year-old. The American Nightmare now has a perfect 15-0 record against the current Bloodline leader in singles matches.
Sikoa has been trying to take Cody Rhodes down since March 2023, when they had their first televised match on Raw. However, he has never been successful in their fifteen total encounters. They have also faced each other in several types of stipulations, including a Bloodline Rules match at SummerSlam, a steel cage match on the USA Network SmackDown premiere, and street fights at house shows.
Despite their fifteen singles matches, only three of them have taken place on TV or a PLE. The others have all been dark matches or at live events. Despite Sikoa never winning a single one of these matches, he has pinned the WWE Undisputed Champion once in a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank 2024. This makes him one of four men to pin Rhodes since his WWE return at WrestleMania 38.
Solo Sikoa tries to recruit Jey Uso into The Bloodline on the latest episode of SmackDown
Solo SIkoa opened the latest episode of SmackDown to address the Columbia crowd. He listed off his accomplishments and asked everyone to acknowledge him. This led to a shocking entry by Jey Uso, who appeared on the blue brand for the first time in months. The Intercontinental Champion said that he still cared about the former NXT North American Champion as he was still his little brother.

However, Jey Uso was not fond of what Sikoa was doing to their family. He told him that the Tribal Chief’s garland must be earned. Furthermore, he accused him of dividing the family to gain power for himself. The 31-year-old refuted, claiming that he was uniting their family, not dividing it. Instead, the Bloodline leader did have a spot open in his faction for the 10x Tag Team Champion if he acknowledged him in return.
Regardless, Uso showed no intention to join either party. It appears that he genuinely meant it when he said that he was done with the Samoan faction. This left Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso alone in their fight. The two babyfaces once again became victims of the numbers game and were beaten down by the Bloodline at the end of the show.
