Many can assume that Sophie Cunningham was one of the many WNBA stars who voted to enable the players’ union’s executive committee to enforce a strike if need be.

After all, 93% of the players participated in the vote, out of which 98% approved of the move, as then only can they pile the pressure on Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, her executives, and team owners.

So far, the negotiations have seen the league hold a strong line when it comes to how much revenue share they are going to allow in the next CBA.

As Sophie Cunningham is still recovering from her ACL tear, the guard is trying to make the most of the offseason with appearances and brand collaborations. When she wound up on Caleb Pressley‘s Sundae Conversation.

CP: If the WNBA screws you, you’ll find a plan B.
SC: Not plan B, Project B.
CP: You have so many people who support you comes to your games. Do you think you even need the leagues? Or could you make money on OnlyFans?
SC: No, I do think you need the leagues, cause that’s what gives you the platform to have all these fans.
CP: OnlyFans can be a platform in themselves.
SC: Maybe plan B should support that platform.

Caleb Pressley and Sophie Cunningham’s back and forth

The host essentially started by praising the Indiana Fever star’s shooting ability, and then quickly drew her into talking about her income, and then brought OnlyFans into the mix.

Even though Cunningham laughed at the thought, she twisted a suggestion back to where Caleb Pressley had to admit it was a good comeback.

So far, the 29-year-old knows that she will likely get a fourfold increase to her annual salary. The union is pushing for more, which should mean that in time, the Missouri native would earn what she deserves.

All that depends on whether the league and the players agree to the terms of the next CBA. The current deadline, after two extensions, is set for January 9th.

The timing should be interesting because most of the top union representatives will be busy playing in the 2nd season of Unrivaled, in Miami, Florida.

Considering how important these terms are going to be for the next few years, the committee members particularly, should be ready for all meetings, so that they can secure their future.

Sophie Cunningham gets quizzed on green NSFW toy fiasco

As the next CBA is negotiated, players are also asking for more security. Sophie Cunningham knows all too well what happened last season, when fans threw NSFW toys onto the court.

CP: What are those green things on the floor?
SC: It kind of scared me. I wasn’t expecting a d**** to be thrown at me, especially during a game

Caleb Pressley and Sophie Cunningham’s back and forth

This was the interaction when, again, Caleb Pressley drew Sophie Cunningham into a discussion about the toys by first talking about how WNBA stars practice against male players.

Eventually, the Missouri alum revealed that she was scared of it, which is how she reacted when one toy landed at her feet during a game.

That incident happened after Cunningham called out the trolls for starting the green NSFW toy-throwing incidents. After almost being hit by one, the guard used that to continue mocking the trolls who had started the fiasco.
