South Korea vs USA – Baseball Team Preview

South Korea lost their opening game against the USA but returned back to winning ways by defeating Israel 6-5. They also won their next two matches against the Dominican Republic and Israel in rounds 1 & 2, respectively. The Kia Tigers lost their semi-final fixture 2 -5 against Japan but have another opportunity ahead of them to make it to the gold medal match.

The USA, on the other hand, won both their matches in their opening round of the event. They defeated South Korea 4-2 and also won by a big margin of 8-1 against Israel. They lost their Round 2 match against Japan but won their repechage round match against the Dominican Republic, which saw them make a comeback into the event.
