A doctor claims Victor Wembanyama's blood clot is due to the COVID 19 vaccine

The news that Victor Wembanyama will be out for the season has rocked all of sports. The French phenom had taken a steady leap this year and along with his teammates were expected to push the San Antonio Spurs into the playoff spots.

But the blood clot in his right shoulder has brought up questions of health and longevity. It is not uncommon for players to struggle with blood clots. However, seldom do they endanger long term health. The only exception to the rule was Chris Bosh.

But he was 31 when his struggles started. Once it became a regular problem, he was forced to retire. In the case of Victor Wembanyama, the diagnosis so far has suggested that this is not life or career threatening. However, since the news broke, a doctor named Jesse Morse replied to Shams Charania‘s original tweet.

That’s a blood clot… How much you want to make a bet he received the COVID vaccine?

This though instantly started another discourse. For a long time, there have been several rumors that the side-effects from COVID 19 vaccines have started to cause people problems. Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg recently revealed that the Joe Biden administration had stopped them from releasing information on those side-effects.

This has added to the discourse that the US government, as have other governments across the globe not been truthful about the vaccines. Many such as Kyrie Irving famously declined to get vaccinated. At the time many felt he was trying to be selfish.

Fans lose their minds of doctor’s COVID 19 vaccine theory in Victor Wembanyama’s blood clot situation

Those concerns might gain traction as the days go by. But basketball fans felt Dr. Jesse Morse was out of his depth when he stated this. They believe there have been many athletes who have suffered from blood clots even before COVID 19 came into this world.

The doctor doubled down on his version by suggesting that blood clots are normal in older players. But it is not for a 21-year-old athlete. He brought out data that indicates young players have been affected by it post COVID more than before. But fans were having none of it and felt he wrote that for clickbait.

It is true that young athletes such as Christian Koloko and Ausar Thompson had blood clot issues. They struggled with that after they received their shots of COVID 19 vaccines. However, it is still a theory as there is no data to confirm it. That is what fans could not get a grip of.

They felt this Dr. Morse was speaking out on the basis of just a theory. At the same time, undermining medical practice and bringing politics into the game. Koloko and Thompson are playing basketball and have not had that problem again, therefore, Dr. Morse might not have the proof to back his claim.
